SurveyTracker E-Mail/Web offers e-mail and web distribution methods, each with a variety of distribution options. Just like in SurveyTracker Classic, you can also conduct paper and Survey-by-USB surveys. With the availability of more choices, you can survey more people with few resources!

+ Does SurveyTracker E-Mail/Web have the same functionality as the other versions of the software?

Yes, all the functions such as survey design, audience, distribution, data collection, analysis, and reporting work exactly the same as the other versions. It differs only in the distribution methods supported.

+ What distribution and data collection methods does SurveyTracker E-Mail/Web support?

SurveyTracker E-Mail/Web supports Web surveys, paper, Survey-by-USB, and kiosk surveys.

+ I don't have access to my web server or my IT professionals are too busy to post my web files. Can SurveyTracker help?

SurveyTracker E-Mail/Web supports auto-host which, for a nominal fee, allows you to upload web surveys to the web server. There's no need to use your web server or other internal resources.

+ Does SurveyTracker E-Mail/Web support save and resume capability for respondents?

Yes, Save and Resume is supported on web surveys hosted on a Windows/ASP web survey or when hosting surveys on the Auto-Host Web server. Save and Resume allows the respondent to save the survey at any point and resume it at a later time without losing responses. You must use passwords or e-mail invitations for web surveys hosted on your server or invitations when using save and resume with an auto-host web survey.

+ In what ways does SurveyTracker E-Mail/Web use e-mail?

SurveyTracker E-Mail/Web uses e-mail for the following purposes:

  • To send invitations to Web surveys.
  • To receive Web surveys returned to you as e-mail messages.
  • To import from en e-mail address book.

+ How does SurveyTracker send and receive e-mail?

SurveyTracker interfaces with your system's e-mail software program and passes along surveys and other documents. The e-mail program then sends and receives the messages.

+ What e-mail programs does SurveyTracker interface with?

For sending and receiving e-mail from within the software, SurveyTracker supports Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Lotus Notes, and Novell GroupWise. Web survey scripts are designed to connect with a server's e-mail program in order to return responses (such as Sendmail, Newmail, or the SMTP client itself).

+ Can I import my existing e-mail address book into the SurveyTracker E-Mail/Web audience list?

Yes, SurveyTracker can interface with your e-mail address book if you are using one of the supported e-mail applications.
